My name is Robert johnson and Im the manger and creator of Erebus. I grew up in the 90s in London and was brought up with musical styles like the Beatles, The doors and much more.
During the 90’s I was introduced to electronic dance music and heard of a type of music called drum and bass an love it so got onboard. Then moved to Southampton for university, I had a friend in the music industry and I started at a local radio station called Voice fm which taught me the in’s and out’s of the radio industry. I spent 7 years there 5 as a presenter and after that had my own chilled beats show for 2-3 years.
At the same time I started djing on internet radio station where i had worked on a few (as internet radio stations come and go quickly). Towards the end of 2025 I thought that I could maybe launch my own station, so early 2026 I started ‘Erebus’ and have a small team of staff as I want to start the station small and grow from there and now we are here…
